| meetings are long and senate is in full swing! yet i love it...i'm still trying to set up some sort of class list for the extension students...butttttttt besides my asuc stuff i'm actually havin a pretty chill time...the football game is this saturday...whooo whooo!...i can't wait to dogpile my friends...even if we make so many touchdowns, i will love cheering ppl in teh stands...yayyyy! everything is cerazzy...but that day i have to audition for danceworx at a whoppen 9am! hahaha latez xanga! | | |
| well i had senate training for the first day... and it was tiyering cuz i got like 5 hours of sleep before then so practically i was all nodding off by teh second to last speaker...but it was a very informative meeting and i learned alot bout the campus administrators and all....and i have a renewed respect for the senators who have served before me...hopefully i can be an efficient senator this year...i try to soak in all these experiences and all this advice, but sometimes it's just too much to memorize or to fast to write down...so what i end up doing is askin the senate veteran yvette felarca...she's really cool and i learned alot about her...
sometimes i'm at a crossroads when it comes to revealing my past experiences...because i really am a slow thinker and i don't really say anything right off the top of my head...i guess i'm just that way...when i talk to these people (senators) I find that they are very deep people and have alot of experiences within their family...but when i reveal something about myself, i find it is very superficial in some way, when i don't really intend it to be superficial in any way...it's just that it seems superficial because i truly haven't experienced what the others have went through...i don't know if this paragraph is totally not making sense because i just ranted off a random thought...
besides that i went to play some poker tonite with fellow senator peter chung and senator anil daryani and some other friends...that was really chill...i lost all my money but i still had fun...heyy, it's alot cheaper than a movie atleast! i'm really excited for tmrw tho cuz i'm gonna go to Unit 1 with anil and visit all the freshman that live there...and we'll tell them all about what the bookstore has to offer, especially the LOW PRICE GAURANTEE!...why would you shop anywhere else...even if a competing bookstore gave a cheaper book price, then the bookstore would just match that price! In that way, you're saving yourself money and generating revenue for a better and more efficient bookstore...even a little thing like picking where to buy books could make a world of difference when concerning the university and making change on this campus...
on a side note...in addition to taking advantage of the LOW PRICE GAURANTEE at the CAL STUDENT STORE, i really am looking forward to having interns...i believe i will make them the best interns in the university, and not only will they be the best, they will be respected by ASUC officials and campus administrators...and i believe i will effect the most change on this campus through my interns...i don't think or want to do it any other way...my interns will become leaders...mark my word on that!...i love the ASUC; i love CAL; and i love the football team: GO BEARS!!!! the end
| Hello xanga...long time no talk! yea well today was my last day of work and i really got treated nicely...i love the people at my work; they're soooo nice...first, i got treated to this nice mexican restraurant and talked to some of the engineers, second, they got me CAKE! on it, it said "good luck, chris" it was really sweet...i got a free shirt and pen and my PAY CHECK!
then later tonight i went out with my friend lianne and we ate at cpk...there is a cpk right now. then i went to hang out with vince fo a lil...that was chill and we went to LA to go hang wit my old friend Lina from wayyyy back...hahahha...that was chill...then i drove home hella tiyerred, like around 230am!...yipes i was out...heheheh...bye bye everyone!
| hoLLa!!! i'm about to xanga it up...so haha i had an inkling to update my xanga, and i decided to do it at work! yay, right after my lunch break! well i gotta say that i've done some pretty funny/weird things in the last week...
1. I went to blockbuster 3 times within a time span of 3 hours
2. I had some engineering fun at work with my boss and went to go weigh two different parts and see which one weighed more
3. I'm a clutz and bumped over the free-standing blockbuster sign (which was one of those times i went during the three hours)
4. I just got three space exploration posters. (hey, they were free okay!)
5. I made a postulation of how we can make more room for trash dumping: take the existing trash, put it in capsules and shoot them at the sun.
besides that it's been pretty chill, i hung out with a bunch of old mater dei friends yesterday...that was really chill and everyone looks so different, and some are still the same...it was good to catch up, and now i have a hook up to live down in ucla when CAL comes back for football! hahahah, i'm so excited for USC this year...alritey, i must be a good worker and get back to work, but i'll be sure to update sometime this week...bye bye

| yay i finished work once again this week...i got to hang wit vee on tuesday...that was pretty tite, caught up and gave her alotta culture shocks!...hahaha...and then i went to "the boogie" today...it was off the hook...the music was tite and the girls were oooo-eeee good...hahahah...then i went home and i been playing my irobot game, of which i'm really addicted to. this weekend should be chill...maybe i'll catch the fiesta at my church...and oh yea of course...i gotta watch bourne supremacy...that movie is the wooooooooooooooo! man summer is almost over! I have less that a month with my family! i'm gonna miss all the home cooking, and all the driving! hehehe everything is so much more convenient with a car...instead of ghetto-ass walkin at berkeley...sometimes i wish i had a frikkin golf cart and i rode it through campus and to class...that would be hella tite....i'm gonna propose that we make golf cart lanes on campus...hehehe...yessssssssss....wellz ima head to bed...i'm gonna wake up hella late tmrw! | | |
